Heinrich Parts Information Wanted

Hello

I have just joined the Forum and hope someone will speak English. I have an 1973 R60/5 with an Original Heinrich 33 liter Fuel Tank and an Original Heinrich Handlebar Fairing. I am looking for information on Karl Heinrich, his shop/workshop and the products he made for BMWs from 1969 to 1979.

I would like to have some Heinrich Brochures or Sales Leaflets from 1970s. I am also looking for good photographs of BMW /5 bikes fitted with Heinrich products. Can anyone help please?

Welcome Dave,

I'm not too familiar with Heinrich products. The only thing I know is that T. Jeckel is probably his successor. But there is almost nothing on his website which is related to Karl Heinrich.
Maybe someone else can provide you with fiurther information.

the mentioned T. Jeckel is the successor in sales. In production it was Werner Reinschlüssel near Tübingen (his successors are still in the business http://www.alu-reinschluessel.de/).
Literatur and pictures are available in the Yahoo groups: "slash2" and "slash2 conversions" and at http://www.beemergarage.com/ whenever these are more centered to the /2 models.

Hello to all who replied to my request.

Thank you all for the help, I will follow up the links, though I have spent many hours searching the Internet for information about Karl Heinrich and his products so I think I have already found most of what is on the Internet. My hope is that someone out there in Germany will have some information that may not yet be on the Internet.

I would really like to hear from someone who visited Karl Heinrich and his Shop/Workshop back in the 1970s.

Anyway, I look forward to getting more replies.

for sure there is enough infomation around. The only problem might be, that the one's holding it are not familiar with the internet. So it might take some time until somebody will respond in a manner that you expect.
