Hello, I will buy a Siebenrock 1070CC powerkit for my BMW R80G/S bj. 05-1986 and I have a question about the cilinderheads. I hope you can help me.
My bike has the stock cilinderheads from a 800cc G/S and is equiped with the stock 32mm. carburators.
I would like the cilinderheads to be modified (including twinspark conversion) by a specialist in Holland so that they can be mounted with your 1070-Powerkit. Is this a good combination or should I look for cilinderheads from a 1000cc motorbike? What is the best combination?
I want good performance from the bike that's why I'm also planning to buy the complete Siebenrock exhaustsystem for my bike.
But what about the carburators, is 32mm. okay or should 40mm. be mounted?
What is your experience with the heads and carburators?
Please give me some advice. Thanks in advance.
Kind regards, Roel (from Holland)
