Danke

Hello, I would like an information.
Maybe the question is stupid.

1) Also on the Mahle cylinders of the Siebenrock bigbore kit is there the printed mark 10 as on the original BMW 1000cc cylinders?

2)Can you also tell me if this number 10 is in the same position both to the left and to the right or if they are offset as in the photo?

3)cylinder - piston coupling tolerance?
thank u

thanks so much,

so yes the number 10 is also on the BBK.

Left and right cylinder have the number 10 in the same position? So to say, if the one in the photo is the right cylinder, the left cylinder, once mounted, would have the number 10 towards the rear of the bike?

There's no difference between left and right.
One is mirror inverted to the other when mounted.

...hallo

The siebenrock 1070cc BBK (both Standard and Touring kit) has Mahle cylinders and 97.98mm Siebenrock pistons (perhaps also made by Mahle).
Does any of you have any information on the clearance between piston and cylinder?

What about 1070cc SPORT BBK (Gilardoni cylinders and Mahle special pistons)?

danke

Good morning,

the first cylinders were produced by Gilardoni. What do you mean with Sport? The difference between the packages are the length of the piston rod.

... regardless of the camshaft,
there are three types of Siebenrock 1070cc kits.

Standard kit: Mahle cylinder, 151mm Siebenrock connecting rods - Siebenrock piston (I don't know who produces piston and connecting rods for Siebenrock, maybe Mahle always);

Touring kit: Mahle cylinder, 150.5mm Siebenrock connecting rods - Siebenrock piston (I don't know who produces piston and connecting rods for Siebenrock, maybe Mahle always);

not sure but I seem to remember that there is also a Sport kit for race use only
