Hi Adrian,

are the rocker blocks made of aluminum? if so, it is better to operate them without the slot for clamping. The aluminum can otherwise press away at the clamping points. A transition fit / light press fit between the pin and the bore is better in this case.

Hi Phil,

You raise an interesting point. One that bothered me a little early in the design. I wanted the one piece blocks to be light weight, so yes, they are aluminium. But I chose 7075-T6 because it is considerably harder and stronger than 6061 - T6 with less 'formability' so hopefully they'll do the trick!

Hopefully it works! I know the problem from Wüdo rocker arms (like series only aluminum x4) which have expanded. However I do not know the type of alloy....
