wisst ihr, ob es Unterschiede zwischen den R1100GS-Schwingen in den Produktionsjahren gibt?


Ich habe gehört, dass HPN die "zweite Serie" bevorzugt.
Die Quelle ist sich nicht sicher, also frage ich euch.


Ich habe mir die Teilenummer der BMW-Schwinge angesehen und sie ist immer die gleiche, für alle Produktionsjahre.


33172312566 Gleiche Teilenummer für R1100GS und R850GS.

I have heard that HPN prefers the "second series".

Funktionieren tut jede Schwinge der R1100, die Abmessungen sind immer gleich.

Bei den neueren ist der Ansatz, an den das Federbein angeschraubt wird, im inneren massiv. Daher wird diese bevorzugt, ich hab aber noch nie davon gehört dass eine Schwinge der R1100 hier gebrochen ist.

Die Teilenummer hat sich schon geändert, im Katalog wird aber nur die neuere geführt.

Die Schwinge wurde im März 1996 geändert und hat die Teilenummer 33 17 2 312 566, bis März 1996 wurde die Schwinge mit der Teilenummer 33 17 2 330 516 verbaut

This profile is another difference between the old and the new one. The Profile belongs to the old one.

The swingarms from the R1100 RS/GS/R/RT are identical, tho one from the R1100S ist different and won't fit.

The first Serien of the R850 ist identical to the R1100, the second to the R1150.
The R1150 swingarm is a little bit shorter and the strut mount is different, eye vs fork. But you can also use this one. There will be a little more space between the swingarm and the gearbox, that make the Integration of the Clutch lever easier.

I was looking on the web and seems to me that the profile is on the "old"swingarms before 01/1997...

I still don't know if I'm going to mount a central or lateral shock absorber by welding the lower shock mount to the swingarm. If I choose this solution, the old swingarm with the profile I indicated might be more suitable - robust...

Hello, I have seen on the web that someone has raised-inclined the motor in the frame by repositioning the attachments on the frame.


This I assume is done to get better driveshaft working angles with extended wheel travel.


I read that usually the motor is also moved forward.
Maybe to re-balance weight?


I don't know how much it is usuallymoved forward.
Maybe 5-10mm?


Whatever the measure, how do you make up the space at the gearbox flange? Could it be that you have to build a shim to put under the gearbox flange and after use longer bolts?

Hallo, ich habe im Internet gesehen, dass jemand den Motor im Rahmen erhöht hat, indem er die Befestigungen am Rahmen neu positioniert hat.


Ich nehme an, dass dies geschieht, um einen besseren Arbeitswinkel der Antriebswelle bei längerem Radweg zu erreichen.


Ich habe gelesen, dass normalerweise auch der Motor nach vorne versetzt wird.
