    Dyno run

I was not happy with the power delivery of my engine.
Valves and ignition, sparkplugs all were tiptop.
    So, looking at the Bings.
Stationairy and 3000rpm balance difference less than 6mbar.
Playing around with the needle height, main jet, needle jet, and stationairy jet. But could not find the sweet spot.
Either power and lots of KFR. Or power so-so and smooth. And lots of other combinations.

Decided to go for a Dyno run, measuring power, torque and the exhaust values.

In the end we landed at needle clip 3rd from the top, main jet 152, needle jet 2,66 and stationary jet 50.

Now there's good power, acceptable exhaust values (not Euro 6.... ) and plenty torque.
I went for mid range driveability. Not max power at 6000rpm.
With other setting we could get around 55BHP rearwheel but nasty torque delivery.

Engine wise, only the cylinderhead has been flowed a bit. Piston, cylinders and piston rings are from 1989.
Which means that we are just a bit above factory values.

I am happy and the 2 valve drives like the proverbial tractor....

    AW: Dyno run

    Hello,

    nice bike!

But there is no need to start a new thread for each part you've fixed.
