I hope you don't mind if I write in English:

I need to get a German TUV certificate for my bike to allow me to register it in Italy

Does anyone have a suggestion who I can go to for this, I assume someone with experience in registering customised BMWs. Southern Germany preferable but not necessary

I have an HPN style R100GS dirt bike with +100mm monolever, DRZ forks etc etc

any leads gratefully received

thanks

You use as an avatar the image of a despot who gave his dogs meat snacks on silver trays while his population died of hunger?

No answer from my side.

Passt gerade:

Leute, wenn ihr solche Sachen per Button meldet, dann dauert es nicht so lange , bis wir drauf aufmerksam werden und einschreiten können.:oberl:

....He also had pet lions in his garden

The aim of my post was in relation to homologation requirements for HPN style airheads and not politics

Since you raise topic:

There are two sides to every coin, to you Haile Selassie is a symbol of class oppression.

To others he is a forward thinking ruler that introduced a constitution and abolished slavery in his country, fought off colonialist aggression, founded the African Union, was always the model of regal elegance and was cruelly murdered by a Marxist-Leninist Junta.

He is a symbol of black pride and a divine figure to the Rastafari religion, a claim that his devout Christianity always led him to deny. I am not sure how many modern career politicians would have such humility.

Anyway I hope we can all agree that Airhead dirtbikes remain on of the best twin cylinder offload bikes out there

Hi Ras,

you must understand, that is nearly impossible for our Admins to calm discussions which are based on religious or political statements. Such conflicts can destroy a forum like ours.
And yes, many of the forum members in my age heard root reggae music, Bob Marley, Peter Tosh etc., but only a few know something about the Athiopia, Rastafari and Africa Unite movement.
It's surely better for all here in our technical forum, when we shut out ALL religious und political themes and symbols.

Kai

....as they say always better to avoid the subjects of religion and politics

No worries - the purpose was to discuss matters related to HPN style modifications for which I hope we all agree are great bikes

IMHO a well prepared airhead is one of the best twin cylinder dirt bikes out there, have been looking at the KTM790 and T7, but keep coming back to the thought that an "HPN" is a better bike for technical tracks
