Hello, I bought some krauser 4v heads and need information about it.
There were some problems with the 4v. Wich problems and how can you fix it? I wan't also all the information i can get (historie,troubleshooting,numbers of production,...)
Maybe an email-adress of somebody who knows them verywell.

Krauser: een wereldnaam met wereldproducten. Natuurlijk bekend en groot geworden door de Krauser motorkoffers. Minder bekend, doch zeker niet minder spectaculair waren de 4 kleps cilinderkoppen voor de 1000 cc BMW Boxermotoren. Wij kochten de mallen en rechten van deze cilinderkoppen. Helaas kunnen we niet meer alle onderdelen (en dus ook geen complete sets) meer leveren, doch voor de gelukkige eigenaars van deze koppen kunnen we nog putten uit een zeer grote voorraad onderdelen. Met bijvoorbeeld 17.000 kleppen zullen we nooit "nee" hoeven te verkopen als U de koppen wilt reviseren.

Krauser: einen weltweiten Ruf in der Welt von Produkten. Natürlich durch den Krauser Koffer bekannt. Weniger bekannt, aber sicherlich nicht weniger spektakulär, die 4-Ventil-Zylinderköpfe für die 1000cc BMW Boxer-Motoren. Wir kauften die Gießformen und die Rechte der Zylinderköpfe. Leider können wir nicht alle Komponenten (und somit auch keine vollständige Sätze) mehr liefern, jedoch für die glücklichen Besitzer dieser Köpfe können wir von einem sehr großen Bestand an Ersatzteilen ziehen. Zum Beispiel, 17000 Ventile, fuhr die Überholung von die Zylinderköpfe.

Less known, but certainly no less spectacular, the 4-valve cylinder heads for the 1000cc BMW Boxer engines. We bought the molds and rights of these cylinder heads. Unfortunately we can not provide all components (and therefore no complete sets), but for the lucky owners of these heads we can draw from a very large stock of spare parts. For example, 17,000 valves, we don’t have to sell a 'no' if you need to overhaul cylinder head.

there has been some trouble with the camshaft . A german company ( www.wuedo.de )produced special camshafts for Krauser heads .
(spare parts no. 11 31 00 for engines after 1980 , spare parts no. 11 31 01 for engines before 1979 , the difference depends on the kind of ignition .The spare parts numbers are from a 1993 Wüdo catalogue).
There has been some financial trouble with the Wüdo guys last year but they are still busy with BMW Bikes .Maybe you get some more information there .
There are only a few guys busy with Krauser heads . 2,5 years ago I offered my last Krauser parts in this Forum for free but no one was interested in .Last year I gave everything away as a present to another Krauser driver .
You will have to keep your eyes open for a while .
