Centerstand protection bash plate

Morning all!
Please for your comments as to whether installing in a BMW R100GS '87 the PD's big oilpan bash plate (in three parts : a fiberglass in front of the engine and the exhaust pipe, a metal one under the engine and another one on the centerstand), would require stronger centerstand springs adding any other drawbacks.

Standard springs will do - as the center stand plate ist just aluminium. The front plastic guard gives a little additional protection against water/moisture on your boots. Stijn.
