I also thought this perhaps but the design is a little different. It may be that HPN have updated or more than one design. I will call and ask Klaus.

I also think it is a version of the HPN-Tail. Not all are the same, the developement never stops.

Hi Luckystu !

The HPN-ones (as Hubi already mentioned) are different depending on the combination spring strut/drive shaft used. Some come with additional (baggage) plate, some without.

Frame welding done by HPN and very simliar to yours.

This Picture was taken in my Garage...
Its the first HPN-Alu-Frame for HPN-Monolver.
The Fender was also a HPN-Part.

Hi Werner,

My current bike is also a Rooney but at moment is just bits and pieces. Frame is near to just finished and (1070) engine near complete. gearbox is done. I will post pics of my new one when it looks like a bike again. Here is another of my old bike (more on my blog...google 'rooneycycle) it has since been completely changed.

Also, I recently had some german guests and welcome visitors to my home. So come have a boags beer on me....
